Luka Rook is a Dutch composer born May 6, 2004, in the Netherlands. 

At an early age, Luka came in contact with music. At the age of 6 Luka started taking piano lessons. Very soon he knew that he wanted nothing else, than to make music and to make this his profession.

When he got the opportunity to become the pianist of the ‘Regiokoor’ from Lekkerkerk in 2021, he grabbed it with both hands.

In 2022 Luka started the 1 year course AV-Sound Education in Utrecht. After the succesful completion of this course he started the course mediamusic at the ArtEZ conservatory in Enschede in 2023. Here he chose the direction Composer for Film, Games & Media.

Luka feels most attracted to creating orchestral music/melodies for theater, film and media. His work is characterized as orchestral music with often a clear melody line, using a lot of dynamics and ornamentation.
